Once sign up is completed. MDC implementation team members will come to your hospital and work with your coordinators in order to get the system set up. This will consist of account creation for coordinators from each subscribed department. Furthermore, this will be the time to calibrate smart alerts for the different drain trackers in order to match hospital policy and expectations. The process will then move forward with enrolling a subset of drain care patients during the first two weeks in order to troubleshoot any foreseeable or existing hindrances to work flow. Paper instructions for to send home with patients will also be distributed at this time. Once completed and all questions answered, a support team will be available 24/7 for all hospital partners.
